An old chapel has been converted into a rather strange house in the centre of the town of Clifden, Connemara, Ireland. The building is surrounded by a fence topped with large gilded fleur de lys, and a huge rusting anchor leans against the fence. Peeling paint surrounds the gothic windows, and the blue stucco is discoloured, but the bars covering the windows are new and look most effective. |
