Graves of Confederate Soldiers, Oakland Cemetery, Atlanta

In the historic Oakland Cemetery on a quiet street in Atlanta, Georgia, is a section for the fallen from the Civil War. The Confederate Memorial Grounds includes the graves of nearly 7000 Confederate soldiers, including 3000 unknowns. There are also 16 Union soldiers who died in local hospitals, and 3 Confederate generals.
