Waialua Beach, Oahu

Waialua Beach on the island of Oahu is a popular beach for surfing and shell collecting on the north shore. The site of one of the early missionary stations on the island, and later a famous resort, it is now a relatively quiet spot. The narrow beach has a rocky ocean bottom and does not attract many swimmers. Across the mouth of the Anahulu River is the site where much of the location shooting takes place for the hit television series "Lost".
