...Did he smile his work to see?

The Cats

Did he who made the lamb make thee?
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
Siberian Forest Cat, kitten In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
William Blake 1757-1827

They are all so beautiful. And so many are on the critically endangered list. They are intelligent and so independent it is hard to believe that man is making such inroads on their habitat that many of these magnificent creatures will soon be gone forever from our world.

Cats are mysterious, dangerous, strong and agile, and with their complete disdain for the opinions of others, they are the embodiment of independence.

Bring them home and you are privileged to be allowed to provide warmth and food, and affection, entirely on their own terms. Of course.
