There may always be another reality
To make fiction of the truth we think we've arrived at.
Christopher Fry , 1907-2005

Intimate scapes are the small parts of landscapes, the details that are so easy to miss when we are confronted by a larger scene. Rocks, a boat in the harbour, a path that leads to a mysterious destination, or the roofline of a grand building, all are some of what I think of as intimate scapes.
