Building History

There is something about ruins, perhaps the way that outlines soften as walls crumble, that make them very attractive for photographers. Erosion, creeping vegetation, lichens, all contribute to the mellowing. Sometimes old buildings and artifacts are kept in perfect condition, and as styles and fashions ebb and flow the old becomes new again.
