Blue-bellied Roller

The Blue-bellied roller is an African bird that inhabits mature, moist savannah. They feed on grasshoppers, other large insects, and small lizards. They are quite common, and have adapted well to inhabited areas. Rollers are named for their aerial “rolling” acrobatics during courtship and territorial displays.
