Bryce Canyon from the air

Aerial view from the east of Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah. Eventually the forces of successive freezing and thawing, heavy rains, and wind, will return the pillars and fins of Bryce Canyon to the sand dunes from whence they came many geologic ages ago. The process can be seen in this picture, taken from the air, in the soft dunes in the top right of the image contrasting sharply with the hoodoos and fins in the center.
