Crowsnest Mountain
Named by Cree Indians for the ravens that inhabit the area, Crowsnest Mountain towers over the landscape near the Crowsnest Pass in Alberta. The peak is geological formation known as a klippe, where the underlying rocks are younger than the ones above. It is 9137 feet high, and was first climbed in 1904.
