Dark Glassy Tiger (Parantica agleoides agleoides)
Dark Glassy Tiger (Parantica agleoides agleoides). Similar to the Blue Glassy Tiger, they are often seen together and are easily mistaken for each other. This butterfly feeds on milkweed type plants such as gymnema and asclepias. It is distasteful to predators, so it has a slow, gliding, and unhurried flight. The Common Wanderer will often mimic the Glassy Tiger, as a protection from predation.
