King Protea

King Protea (Protea cynaroides) has the largest flower head of all the proteas. It is the National Flower of South Africa. This exotic plant has over 80 garden varieties, and is popular in both tropical and subtropical gardens worldwide. It is also prized as a cut flower. King Protea is also known as Giant Protea, Honeypot, and King Sugar Bush.
