Orange cruiser butterfly, (probably Vindula erota), feeding on a yellow ixora shrub. Cruisers are strong flyers, feeding on lantana and other flowers, including passion vine and the poisonous adema. The male is smaller and more colorful than the female. Cruisers are members of the nymphalidae family, and are known as banded treebrown in parts of Asia.
