Red-eared Slider Turtles
Three red-eared slider turtles basking on a floating log. Native to the southern United States, these turtles are now found worldwide because of the pet trade, and when set free they can be an invasive species. They are an aquatic turtle, common in ponds, lakes, marshes, creeks and streams.
