Rodeo, the Wild Horse Race

The wild horse race is an event that is gaining popularity on the rodeo circuit, and with the popularity has come increasing respect for the cowboys that participate. A team of 3 men try to catch, saddle, and ride a wild horse past a finish line. It is a chaotic and often hilarious event for the spectators, although the competitors are completely serious. Each member of the team has a defined role. Once the horse has been caught by its halter, one man tries to hold it place while another puts on the saddle and the third cowboy attemps to mount and ride the unwilling steed. As in many rodeo events, the horse is the winner more often than the cowboys.
