Tour St Jacques, Paris
Tour St Jacques, Paris. Tower that is all that remains of the 16th century Church of Saint-Jacques-de-la-Boucherie (Saint James of the butchery). The patrons were the butchers of the nearby Les Halles Market when the gothic church was built in 1523. It was destroyed after the Revolution.
